Global Ice Changes
One example of a positive feedback loop in regards to Global climate change is the melting of Global Ice caps.
Ice caps help keep the earth cool by reflecting a large portion of sunlight back into space. When the earth warms these ice caps melt and in turn this causes the sunlight that would typically be reflected back into the atmosphere stay and increase the temperature even more, causing even more ice to melt. This melting ice also causes the level of the oceans to rise, causing land that used to be above the water to be submerged and destroying property.
